About the builder
I'm Vishal Bagul, a MERN stack developer with 5 years of experience building web applications. I created Shrinkify because most online file tools still ask you to upload private photos, contracts, and recordings to someone else's server — and I wanted a better default.
Shrinkify runs image, audio, video, and PDF workflows entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and Web Workers. Your files stay on your device. No upload queue, no account required, no waiting on a remote API to process something your own CPU can handle locally.
I work daily with Git for version control and use AI-assisted development tools to ship faster — but the product philosophy stays human-first: useful tools, clear UX, and respect for user privacy.
